Kristy’s most recent project is a 9-song CD entitled, “Neverland”, which she wrote and produced. It is classified as adult contemporary with a Latin influence on some of the songs. The title track was co-written with Ilya Toshinsky, guitarist for Universal South recording artists Bering Strait. The CD also includes a song co-written with Mike McGuire, drummer for the legendary Shenandoah. Additionally, the last cut was co-written with Victoria Shaw, who boasts a string of hits with artists such as Garth Brooks, John-Michael Montgomery, Olivia Newton-John and Ricky Martin, just to name a few. This collection of songs will make you dance one minute and wipe your tears the next. It’s a must have for any music lover’s collection! For a limited time only, Kristy will be offering a single entitled, “There”. This song is dedicated to the life of Kristy’s older sister, Karla Tackett. Karla fought cancer for 4 years and went to heaven on December 22, 2004. The CD includes the beautiful, heart-warming a capella rendition of this song that was played during Karla’s memorial service. Karla’s passion was children, so 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this CD will be contributed to the Children’s Kare Fund. The CKF was established in memory of Karla in order to benefit children that have excessive medical needs.
